Reflecting on Skills - What skills have you used/strengthened/developed during this project? What are you better at? What have you learned how to do?

Technical skills

Editing my video, previous to doing the music video i had never used any software of this sort. Surprisingly i enjoyed editing and picked it up quite quickly.
When having to use the video camera i found it alien at first but got to grips with it when helped by Jake. I now feel confident in using one sufficiently.


Client skills

When it comes to client skills i found i understood invoiceing quite quickly. Beforehand i didnt even know what a invoice was let alone how to produce one myself but eventually found it easy to do.


People skills, organisation and project management skills

I am quite a confident person socially and i found this helped when discussing and negotiating opposing ideas. I felt i could speak concisely and confidently and get my vision across well to both the client, my team and Gary.


Reflecting on your creative career - how could you use this production to aid career development in the creative sector? (Think in terms of working with clients;your portfolio and reputation;your project management ;your employability..)

I think i could use skills such as my leadership and good communication to aid me to get a job in management (stage, production, project). As management you have to discuss, promote and handle topical issues within a production overseeing things run smoothly; such as actors in the right place at right time. I think with my easy talking attitude and my observant eye i think i could eventually do something like this. My editing skills show my creativity and ability to pick up skills quickly. Benefiting both myself and my client.
